That's one of my most favorite tropes, actually, must explain why I like Magni so much. It's always fun when the cocky assholes end up becoming the most self sacrificing in the group because they're the ones who are the most afraid of losing the people they love. I'm not a writer so I hope someone else decides to take up that idea someday!
