>>42834828I think the average dude is just far more insecure about singing than the average girl because it's deemed as feminine for whatever reason, so they deliberately job and never bring a serious attempt out of fear of being shamed. It's probably why my friends always screech like hooligans whenever we go to karaoke. It's a giant hurdle of self consciousness to overcome for dudes who never tried singing seriously before, doubly so for introverted and insecure dudes, triple if it's in front of an audience. At least from my experience.
