Speaking from experience, what likely happened is she grew up around "leather jackets, motorbikes, cowboy hats and rock music", but only got introduced to the internet as a teenager. So she has a mix of the boomerish stuff from her childhood, and internet culture from more recently. Kids growing up these days have a tablet in their hands before they can talk, so lots of zoomers have personalities completely molded by the internet and "meme culture".
