Let's just lay it all out on the table, guys.
>timing of the ban immediately prior to Shondo's birthday stream was CLEARLY pointed and deliberate
>in other words, this is clearly a personal gesture from a higher-up at Twitch who is familiar with Shondo's content
>there is apparently a second set of rules that Shondo must abide by, and they are ostensibly explicitly spelled-out for the enforcers of the rules, but not for her
>Shondo's primary method of self-defense throughout all this has simply been to rally support and call attention to what's happening publicly
>she's receiving support from everyone from SmugAlana to Rev, with a few vtubers with large audiences IMMEDIATELY dedicating one of their daily uploads to helping her
>the most likely explanation for there being a motive to dislike Shondo is simply that she's a loli vtuber, let's face it
>yes, she's absolutely waifish IRL and her model is based off her real appearance, but the people who would cancel her def don't care about that
>she does make cunny jokes and uuoooohhhh jokes and loli jokes and stuff, but that is not NEARLY the majority of a fallenshadow stream, she makes actual content guys, not just what gets clipped and memed
>she is totally being held to a double standard and someone totally is victimizing her, but it's also no shocker that "cunny" gets you in trouble with people who burst into flame over a body type
Now, speculation.
>Shondo receives a whole "we're worried about your mental health" gaslighting letter concurrent with the other ban
Color me sexist, but that indicates to me that it's likely a woman. Something about the sweetened poison (or poisoned honey) involved in the whole "If you're feeling down, we're here, also here's a 30-day ban" gesture just feels feminine to me. This screams of, at least, reactive abuse and a very pointed attempt to harm Shondo mentally and emotionally. If it's a dude, congrats to him for coming across as bitchy I guess.
>timing factors: timing of Shondo returning at all, Shondo/Gamersupps, birthday stream ban, coming after her the INSTANT she expresses vulnerability, etc.
Whoever this is isn't just flinging crap at her, it's calculated. They straight-up want to make her life worse so she quits.
So what do we even do? Do we just make it clear that she has a lot of support and hope they back off? Do we just support her harder? There's obviously no way to out-bleed Twitch in terms of money, so how do we do this? Shondo deserves to succeed.
