I used to buy hamsters from the local pet store and throw them against a tree for stress relief when I was a little kid. The store eventually caught on me buying way too many hamsters and told my parents. I lied to them that I bought those to let them loose because I thought they looked miserable stuck in those tiny cages. They told me even though I had good intentions, I should stop it since the hamsters won’t survive in the wild. To this day they still believe the lie, and no one knows the truth.
