Because, while it's pretty unfortunate it's gotten to this point, there's no way she hasn't learned her lesson now, whereas before all we had was faith that she wouldn't fuck up. She did, and it sucks, but that means things will be different now. She hasn't reneged on the changes she made to herself in June.
