If Fauna is gonna play a soulslike, it should be either Elden Ring or Lies of P. I know they’re harder than DS1, I don’t think Fauna’s issue is with the difficulty of the game, rather that DS1 is janky as fuck and unpleasant to look at. For the longest time I could never get in to Soulslikes either until more recent games made combat feel cooler and look cooler.
