I am a vtuber fan. I like EN vtubers. I was first introduced to Hololive EN because they were the most popular and well known. But they are also incredibly lazy and rarely stream. And sometimes when they're streaming, it's content I don't really care for watching.

What to do with the massive downtime?
A) Check out the hololive JP vtubers (same company)
B) Check out the other EN vtubers outside hololive (same language)

What is more important? Watching vtubers that share the same corporate brand name? Or watching vtubers from any corporation, so long as I can understand them and have an enjoyable experience watching them?

Option A benefits the profits of Hololive corporation. But does not really benefit the average vtuber fan. Limiting your options to a single corporation just to enhance their corporate balance sheet is perhaps the stupidest decision a consumer could possibly make. If he allowed himself to choose option B, he would suddenly have hundreds of different options at his disposal to choose from, and would never be bored again.
