>>86688521All other bullshit aside, because of the internet being all-encompassing and they were born into it rather than it developing from a niche hobby like it did for us, the younger generation doesn't really have a culture of their own. On some level this is true of every generation, I remember watching a video of how every influential music artist that helped define a generation was themselves born into the previous generation which helps creation the notion that generations never produce their own culture.
But it's so much more apparent with people born after 2000 because of the internet since like it or not, millenials are the main protagonist of the internet, everything revolves around us. Everyone revolves around us, what we like, and how to pander to us, and it's because we're the 2nd biggest generation in history. Not enough boomers use the internet, Gen X is both too small a generation and too jaded to truly influence internet culture, and Zoomers are both too small and exist solely on the scraps of what's used to pander to us. That's why they come across as annoying, they have no real culture so they latch onto ours and act like they're part of it or understand it.
