A good thing to keep in mind is that with child friend groups, an older one will take on the role of a protector or guide since they have literally longer world experience. Nerissa would likely try to act more caring and confident around Fuwawa, but not really mommmy-like. It's more of like "I'm the big kid now, this is great." where as the youngest in a 3 kid household, she's always being told what to do by her siblings.
I'm honestly not sure what your plan is with Bijou since she's likely anywhere from 2-4 in age in this context. Like if Fuwawa tries to ask her about sisters, Bijou is just gonna point to a bunch of pebbles with googly eyes on them, say she takes care of them, and then ask if Fuwawa wants to play blocks. I think Fuwawa's own journey toward sisterhood will benefit a lot from a "show don't tell" approach.
