>just curious about costs and specsThe cost is around 40 eurobucks for 3rd gen i7, 16GB memory, 4TB storage. How much memory/CPU you need heavily depends on your method of archiving. If you go the docker container route, this is almost too little, if you run it on linux it's a rather light load, see picture. PID 5934 is Oceane's current stream. I run Windows and do the archiving itself in WSL, Debian.

For personal use, I have set up a private site for me to stream to browser if I want to watch/download something for myself, using apache. I don't really use sftp anymore.
