>>38396381Thank you! I’m glad to hear that my writing’s useful for you!
>ValhalaI try to keep my stuff somewhat consistent and I imagine palkyries would put a lot of emphasis on what qualifies someone to entering Valhalla, so I decided to add that detail. The belief that enemies can also enter Valhalla also helps to show that the hostility wasn’t that severe despite it still being a war against the occupiers. I admit sometimes I feel bad to describe the relationship that way since the actual thread joining is pretty cordial
>sled cannonsI can’t find a lot of details on how sled cannons are used even though it would be quite useful in colder climates. I imagine the sleds are anchored or held in place when firing so that they won’t slide off since something similar would also apply to cannons on wheels
>bratty PalkyriePalkyries being bratty would fit how we act in chat too! Though I’m still not sure how to write a bratty character that isn’t too annoying or unlikable. A calmer environment might help… I’m also struggling on how intimate their relations should be in the writing
>lifespanIt’s an idea that I’ve toyed with for a while but I haven’t decided on any concrete numbers yet. I don’t want them to be anything too excessive so maybe a 1:2:3 ratio between Palkyrie, humans, and elves could work (maybe a bit longer for Palkyries? although it might also just be a case of warrior palkyries dying earlier due to their lifestyle) and elves might just stay youthful longer in general
