I assume they had more grandiose plans for it, having even hired cute girls that can sing (which I assume was part of the plan of making it lean on that direction, hence mfmf involvement).
The thing is: Hal is still funding it mostly from his pocket and whatever sponsor he can scrounge, which he could on his own (and Reid’s too) anyway without a whole company
I’m obviously speculating here but follow my reasoning

For Brave there is an obvious upside too: with VSPO and Neo Porte under their belt they would have a claim not for #3 in the industry

In short: there is no indication Brave would buy Neo Porte but it would be a power move if they done so
