>>73926372I generally don't like it when my oshi does it because her choice of males to hang with is absolutely abysmal. When it's other holostars I don't mind, but shit like Merryweather and fucking Lost Pause? Ollie says some risky stuff, and that tends to come out a lot more when she has a male in one of her collabs, but when it comes to the Holostars I know they're gonna keep themselves in check and not be weird about it, but most of her collab partners, not just the males, act super weird about what she says. It's uncomfortable enough when her female friends act strangely to something she says or makes a big deal out of it, but that awkwardness only doubles when its with a dude, it's like crossing a line, it's really hard to explain.
I think it's partially because I'm a concernfag and know that Ollie is super self conscious about herself, and she thinks the only way to get attention and be remembered is to be this hyperactive, loud sexpest instead of the kind, gentle person she really is. Seeing her feed into that just kinda bums me out, since it diminishes who she is as a person and just reduces her to this one note status of being "that one holo who it's okay to collab with if you're a male"But I'm not a unicorn; I still think the Vesper/Magni/Kronii/Mori collabs were some of the best content Holo ever put out desu. Opposite gender collabs are only bad because you just can't say certain things, and a majority of the time the vibes, tension and atmosphere is always gonna be off, and some Vtubers just act completely different than they usually do which can be a bit offputting. I watch streams to be entertained, not to feel like I'm being held hostage at a christmas dinner with extended family.
