it is obvious to anyone that has been a regular for the past months the amount of stalking and doxxing in this general has reached unprecedented levels. we talked about this before
>>99389326,1608 and the gist is that i want to put out a manifesto to establish some sort of stance.
i, obviously, cannot be an authority on the matter but let's try anyway.
let's establish the facts first.
- /swarm/ were never "the good guys" in anyone's eyes. i'm not asking for permission or forgiveness, only your understanding.
- the creepy poking around has been a thing since the beginning. for example, what was leaked on the first dev stream is now common knowledge. what changed is the intensity of it.
- vedal's and others' mods aren't watching the threads. going around to other generals bragging(!) about it like it's a game is just cringe larp
>>99882615 what is this bro
- there have been a lot of wannabe doxxfaggots trying to stir shit.
despite that i'm fine with the status quo right now. however there are lots of undesirables that have the goal to distrupt it. i think that no matter your stance on the current issues in the thread are, having doxxfaggots waiting to come out of the woodwork is not a good thing.
so what to do with all of this
- stop asking for doxx in the threads, this only riles up the wannabes. if you really really need to know something, like dying to know it, ask me personally.
- shame or at least ignore the faggots. they're typically spotted by vagueposting about random shit baiting with the implication they have "the forbidden knowledge".
>>99943183 this shit is not even funny.
- if there is actually something to share, a sane poster will just tell you what it is. because somehow the ones that post "public information is not stalking" are also always the ones that never tell where this "public information" is.
i think these are actionable enough, thank you for your attention.
even if my opinion makes no difference, i'll refer back to this to clear my name after it all blows up in everyone's face
