Watching a handsome guy just makes me think about how he’s be better off pandering romantically to female versions of me instead. While fleshtubers just deal with whatever face they were born with, Vtubers go out of their way to pick a model more attractive than their IRL self, and so they heavily rely on the viewer’s physical attraction to the model, so trying to maintain a fully platonic same-sex relationship between streamer and chat just doesn’t work out.
I’m sorry Baku, but it’s better for both of us this way. Just start investing in that Vox-style ASMR all your yume fans want, and I’ll enjoy Lulu licking my ears off in another room. Our paths were simply never meant to intertwine.
