I've been looking at more doujinshi artists and found a few I like as a reference for the kind of style I wish to emulate. I like hirame, the artist of that infamous Kantai Collection ahegao face, and I've followed Karasu-chan on twitter for a while and found her monster girl doujinshi. I've admired her for a while because her lines are really cool and I love her exaggerated poses. I want to do something like that but with guys. And I want more focus on cool-looking lines rather than on screentone, so I will keep practicing in that aspect. I will still work on and finish that Fuuchan practice page because I'm learning how screentone works, but after I get used to it, I want to focus on lineart. I will draw Luxiem boys after that's finished and I have my eyes on Mysta because his body is fun to draw and would fit the style I wish to emulate well. Will try it out after I take a nap.
