In the case of FF7, you need to be a fan of FF7 to consider playing it. You likely played the original, you played part 1 of the remake, you own a PS5 (since part two is exclusive to it), you have the time to play it because JRPGs are long, and you have to have nothing else you currently feel like playing in the current sea of games. Not only do you need the interest, but you need the commitment too. Or if you played the original, you might feel the remake isn't for you and that's another reason someone might not want to play it.
