Someone calls your kan tile to complete their hand! It's horrible! Not that it's ever happened to me, of course. What an insidious yaku! It's great! The lesson is to be caution when calling a kan, chankan gives your opponent an extra han if they're ready, or even more rarely it acts as their only yaku and they ron! You would have been better off discarding the tile normally! Devious. Kan with care, and flow will be on your side!
