It may seem tough but what I did was think to myself "the more I practice, the better I'll get quicker". You can usually feel yourself improving when you do something for a long time. Here's a tip: draw strokes with your arm, not your wrist. You put less strain on yourself and your lines are better controlled. You can do it!!
