Honestly we have a wide variety of plant life that we grow and probably a good bit of minerals too? I'm not too familiar on what makes different dyes and I think most would just be made like however ancient civilizations did it, we aren't advanced enough for factories or anything. Assuming dyes are kept fresh by being frozen, we'd just store them in the colder parts of our country.
I can't imagine there being much control imposed over resources since /rose/ is pretty happy to share amongst itself when it comes to resources.
Open market I have no idea about, /rose/ is still working off of a trade system with bits of metal or rosestone being the sort of equivalent of coins for them.

Also I might just be retarded and can't tell shit, but are you another Rosebud? I hardly see other anons posting Rosemi here so I'm confused./rose/ uses a lot of leathers and wool (usually their own, since Sunwalkers produce it to a degree during winter), but maybe they also use cotton? I'm not to familiar with clothing, to be honest, but there's a good chance they could grow some plants like cotton, in their underground gardens. At the very least they do get leather from polar bears and such, while getting wool from themselves. A bit weird wearing your own fur, but hey it works.
