>way lower than 10kthat's just wrong due to inflation and Towa's definitely on par with others who are at that price range, but I digress.
But anyways, Towa stabilized at 10k instead of 8k because two kenzokus (who I wonder) decided to continuously buy her during the bogration, giving the illusion of her price being higher than it should be, probably fucking over the adjustment algorithm, making her a new "Suisei", which has been stated in the past.
Continuing off that algorithm statement, I don't believe honk's current algorithm was meant to deal with high volumes and low amounts of trading, which is what Towa is and those other coins you listed are. The only numbers I can give you to support this that Towa has a volume of about 135k, and there's about 82k Towa coins tied up in oshicoiners and others (like heimin and those who hold just to fuck with market shares who aren't counted, sell your fucking coins pls) who just hold a lot of Towa and have a very low likelihood of selling her. Thus when she adjusts, she takes forever to move down like those other coins that have a higher volume. The adjustment algorithm is likely based off the end of day price instead of the supposed "average" as showcased by the 20k incident. She lost 50% of her daily views after that stream and dropped to 16k from a 21-22k price, and then was bought up to 17k, where she proceeded to lose another solid percent of her daily views for today, which is already close to her normal average daily views of about 80k-140k presuming no major events. This will likely force her price to stay around the 14-15k range now instead of the 12k range, which she was hovering around before.
So what does this all mean? It means that adjustments weren't designed to account for coins not being sold down to their "average" pre-adjustment and thus red adjustments go off their end of day price instead of their "average" causing Towa and others to stabilize at higher price points than they were at, but again I'm not a number guy, I'm just a Towa guy, I'll leave the actual data/numbers to the resident one in the thread instead of my anecdotes.
TL;DR: Don't buy Towa (or at least in high amounts), it's only going to get worse unless honk implements changes, either by volatility or making so people actually sell vast amounts of coins (nerf multisell tax? or something).
This is an effort post for the first time in a while, back to RPing with the Heimin.
