It's more like agencies? The corporations tend to sign on individual streamers and give them a model, a pre-existing group to use for collaborations and multiplayer games, etc. and then it's usually up to them to grow it afterwards. Hololive is the "big guy" that's head and shoulders above everyone else, kind of has a monopoly on the market, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're "better" than the smaller corpos or indies, just that they have the most resources and money and the biggest reach.
But yeah there's a lot of console wars going on. Do you have a genre of games you like or a type of streamer you prefer? That could help narrow down a starting point.
