it seems to be a common thing with creatives. as a fan it's frustrating when le misunderstood artist complains about suffering from success because there are too many fans of one thing who aren't interested in the other stuff the artist is interested in creating. like, i get it, but also...sometimes there's a reason people don't care as much for the other stuff. sometimes it's lame.
not that this is a 1:1 with him here, just something i've noticed in general elsewhere.

like, they're not in a corpo anymore, so following corpotubers would make sense if you want more of that. unfortunately (or i guess fortunately in other aspects) they're no longer corpo. it's kind of disappointing to not see more of what they produced before but it's the current state of things
