It turns out that architectural plans you find online are utter garbage, and I got this far into modelling a house only to find out the dimensions are completely fucking wrong. Ha ha. The lengths of some walls are report wrong and cut into other rooms, and if I change any of them they end up skewing the entire house. Doors don't fit and windows are all over the place. The stairs intended to lead to the 2nd story would stick into the yard.
I justify this waste of time by calling it a "learning experience." I did learn some stuff, like my roof looks like jank (it's not that bad considering I learned how to do that two hours ago).
Back to the drawing board.
