>>41364803If you want to differentiate from Fauna, they could go the tech doctor route. If you don't want him to cross motifs with Magni or Flayon, then you can make him more like a programmer. Since Elysium is virtual, healing people involves working with "magical" elements that's really just code. You go for the stereotypical nerd coder aesthetic or maybe mix aesthetics between coder and your stereotypical looking white mage. His backstory can explain the guild could only hire one healer, but luckily he's really fast as spitting out code so he can (mostly) cope with servicing the growing guild by himself.
The only issues would be fan expectations and how they want to handle the meta narrative of Elysium. Some viewers might expect the talent they hire for such a character to know code. That could be written off with Elysium being built of a fictional language though and that's all he knows. As for the meta, the feasibility of such a character would depend on how overt Cover wants the digital world aspect of Elysium to be like. The code could just be interpreted as "magic" to Elysium residents, but who knows how well they could make that work on top of traditional alchemical potions and spiritual stuff.
