Hello liggermen, OG Numbers anon here and It's time for our monthly top 25. For those new here, this is based on average CCV for the entire month. This month is similar to last month: Everyone hit the minimum 3 streams to qualify, numbers are from either Twitchtracker or Playboard, I removed flesh streams with manual calculations and manually combined and calculated streamers who use dual platforms (youtube and twitch) for an overall average.

NOTES:
>Overall the month was about the same as last month: slightly down but within the 4% up/down area of most people's usual viewership outside of some major upswings by a handful of vtubers. Nobody really suffered any significant downs other than Buffpup and bao, and in both of those cases it is due to post event debuffs that you typically see.
>Our big ups this month were Shylily (26%), Sykkuno (25%), Vei (20%), and Cottontail (17%). With Sykkuno and Vei the viewership bumps were due to being involved in massive cross streamer events (Vei with Onlyfangs, Sykkuno with a big Rust Server). Cottontail's bump is due to new model debut so she will likely have an adjustment back down next month.
>Shylily's big up was due to the Cupathon subathon, however, as we've seen in the past it was extremely front loaded viewership wise: the first four days of the subathon's viewership was consistently 7-8k ccv, however once she hit day 5 no stream hit over the 3.5k ccv mark. The cupathon was pitched as a way to attempt to keep viewers engaged for a longer period of time with a subathon, but in reality the results are the exact same we see every subathon, and worse news for lily is the first week of December's numbers have her at sub 3k CCV average, reinforcing the viewership burnout. Vtubers need to come to terms sooner rather than later that subathons are no longer viable and healthy for your viewership or community in the long run, and no gimmicks will fix this.
>One topic of recent discussion has been girl_dm and the perceived drop off she's had. I looked into the numbers and it's bad: over the last 3 month period, she has had a viewership decline of over 30%, losing an average of 245 viewers overall in that time frame and going from a stable 1k vtuber to a 600 ccv vtuber and falling. The reflex people will have is to blame the model or her occasionally abrasive personality, but she had both of those earlier this year still. The real culprit, looking at the data, is game selection. She force fed her viewers months of MMOs, first FF14, now World of Warcraft, without mixing in diverse games to go along with them and essentially filtered out any viewers who dislike that genre from her community. She has brought in some new viewership with OnlyFangs, but that is likely only as long as she is playing WoW, the moment she tries something else they will likely leave. This is a brutal testament to the fact that while it is healthy for a streamer to play what they want, at the end of the day they also should be considering what viewers in their community will want to see themselves.
>Outside of the top 25, your notable gains in viewership have been Arielle (1,867 ccv, up 32%), Grimmi (1,625 ccv, up 9%), Mint Castella (603 ccv, up 19%), Kitanya (336 ccv, up 36%), Fang (261 ccv, up 21%), Lyra (319 ccv, up 10%), and Nyana (168 ccv, up 16%). This continues the trend of the smaller liggers steadily trending upwards we've seen the last few months.
That's all I got for you this month liggas. Next month I'll have three separate posts: The December top 25, The Year end top 25, and the top 25 in hours streamed. You liggas have a good night and I will see you all at the next /lig/ vtuber live round up.
