Streaming clearly isn't going away, but with the bigger market for shorts this year, it might be that YT heads won't see as much of a benefit to invest that much next fiscal year to finally absorb Twitch.
The Q1 2022 metrics showing a BIG decline in live stream viewers across "Youtube Gaming" might be the tipping point in making that decision, if this bullshit isn't fixed.
Of course, they have other internal metrics, but these, the ccv, watch hours, etc. will be the ones available to new investors, streamers and advertisers.
