There's wiggle room when it comes to recent stream related stuff obviously because recent context is always going to be more poignant. But the OP, in my opinion, should not be a billboard for any of us to try and one-up eachother with our jokes. That can get out of hand very quickly where an autist that starts baking early thinks the OP is his soap box to tell us how he's feeling.
That's why I argue in favor of simplicity so that the capacity for sabotage is lessened. I also think that a simpler OP will help keep the threads easier to keep track of. If all the OPs have multiple lines of references each time it will start to get repetitive and old much sooner. But this is just one man's opinion. If enough people disagree then I'll keep quiet.
