>>67886759I don't think anything gameplay wise was changed between regions. Looking at it, besides the title, certain symbols were changed due to religious reasons for the NA release. I know certain games were made easier like Dragon Quest II > Dragon Warrior II, and Final Fantasy IV > Final Fantasy II, but I'm not aware of all the games like that.
Unless you're referring to Final Fantasy Mystic Quest which is the NA name for the FF USA while the first Mana game for the Gameboy was called Mystic Quest in the EU regions. I'm glad all of the series naming was straightened out from the PS1 and onward. What a fucking mess when it came to international releases.
