Hell i would imagine there are likely vtubers that are centered around politics, its a very large space and there doesn't need to be blanket ban. Vtubers should know the risk of talking politics, just like in fleshtubing you risk losing fans, getting into drama, etc etc. Vtubers should think about those risks if they want to talk politics.
But as a caveat and in objection to everything i just said, vtubers and vtuber companies will have to make decisions that could be seen as 'political' to some.
Just take Hololive for example, the members playfully flirt with each other a lot and some of them (e.g Kiara) are clearly gay or bi. To most that is not 'political' but to some that is 'political' and hololive is 'woke'. Of course im using a extreme example where most people would agree that the people who think gay people are political are retarded but at the end of the day, in the blurry area between "not politics" and "politics" vtubers and vtuber companies will have to draw the line where they 'not politics' and 'politics' start and end.
