However, someone will ALWAYS respond to it, because if someone else responds to it and you don’t, then the troll gets a (You), AND you lose your freedom of speech, which feels far worse than letting a troll win one petty argument. But because everyone thinks like this, the troll ends up getting multiple (Yous), because no one wants to be the guy who get cucked out of his freedom of speech if the troll is gonna get a (You) no matter what happens. They will always end up in the suboptimal scenario, because they don’t want to end up in a scenario where someone else got the satisfaction of replying while they themselves didn’t.
