I think the real turn-off was how the rape scenes(if I remember correctly) weren't written like typical eroge rape where the "victim" secretly enjoys it, Aoba doesn't magically fall for Mink after being raped so it's harder to buy into them being romantic partners. It's not like the other guys are fully respecting of Aoba's boundaries, I can remember a Noiz or Kojaku H scene being dubcon-esque but because Aoba happens to be into it nobody questions it. Somehow, rapey content is only bad for a lot of people when they can't turn a blind eye and pretend it's not rape.
