>>64090747I think it can easily help your character's journeys if you go a little easier on them. I think it might be a product of your writing style, but you are quick on the trigger finger to give one of your characters either a painful death, or just nonstop misfortune. Abuse is kinda your bag from a majority of your works, so it makes sense that you gravitate towards it. When you balance the good with the bad though, it'll make the eventual harsher events more digestible not only by your characters, but the readers as well.
