>>77321808Frankly I don't see why it matters. They had zero input in Selen's firing and people are just looking for someone to direct their anger towards because Riku Tazumi hides from criticism on his yacht. None of these people have referenced Selen or the drama or had anything controversial. If we wanna believe Niji management is evil then the talents are victims, not complicit. If we think there's some kind of clique with Elira's group then these people are completely innocent of that, none of them are ex-hanamori or related to Elira in any way. If we believe these people saw the Selen drama and chose to work for Niji anyway then they clearly had their reasons, and simplifying it as "they just hate Selen" is a bit too ridiculous given the impact she's had on NijiEN's fanbase and community over the years.
That leads to my ultimate point: It's entirely possible to hate Niji while still being respectful of the people who work there. You dont have to watch them but I find it really hard to hate someone like Rosemi who has always been nothing but sweet and kind to people just because of the Niji logo. Most of these people are just caught in the crossfire and just want to stream. My oshi Mint is friends with Doki but still said she misses her old friends from Niji and still cares for them. They're not necessarily bad people.
If you wanna fight a vtuber civil war go to Japan and make Niji accountable for their crimes directly. Their Tokyo office address is widely available online. Directing your anger at these people who have no control over management accomplishes nothing. It's about as effective as people boycotting plastic straws "for the cause" when giant corporations make up like 90% of global pollution.
