>>92288928>How does someone become a vtuber "mama" or whatever the term is? Just become a well known artist and wait for someone to commission you to do art for a model? In my search for VTuber model reference material, I've gone all the way back to the beginning of the Twitter feeds for many of indie VTubing's most prolific model makers. A common trend that I saw was that most model artists/riggers were already creating models for themselves for the fun of it before getting commissions to make models for other people. A lot of them started out before Western VTubing was a thing, making fan models/art for Hololive, anime, or their own OCs. If you're series about this, you should start building a portfolio. Develop your style and then show it off to the world so aspiring VTubers can see your work and go "This is who I want to bring me to life"
