In describing the "changing environment", Axel might have subconsciously tom hollanded when he made an "example" of parents arguing. Altare might have gotten into an argument with either management/internal staff or - Omega forbid - one of the boys about the podcast. Must have been below Vesper-tier outrage to not be suspended but enough to make Axel feel that bad witnessing it.
