i also used to be one of the many emos in our school, and singing along to emo songs with random people during lunch, recess and afterschool with someone's portable music player was one of my fondest past times, i hope she had fun being one as well
great songs and really smart + cool people from the emo subculture
i do have a feeling that westerners might have a different culture than we did though
