This post will cover custom colouring for a select Pokemon with direct citation from the documentation provided.
>Introducing the nickname palettes system!>When certain species have the correct combination of DVs and nickname, they will load an alternate palette.>This allows for alternate coloration without data modification, maintaining compatibility.>These colors will be present everywhere that the palette is used, including link battles if both parties are on the same build of CC.>You can even trade these species back and forth, and as long as they have the correct DVs and nickname, they'll stay that color when they return to CC!>Wondering what combinations you can use?>Well, rumor has it that a certain radio host is spreading relevant information on the airwaves.>It might be worth investigating the Lavender Radio Tower as well.>If that's not enough, you can also define a single special palette per-save file.>This can be set from the RGB Tweaker in the Dex, which is available by pressing START after entering the INFO tab.>After making changes, you can press SELECT to save them, however:>Only sets if you have that exact species, saving the first found species nickname, and DVs from your party.>Sets for all evolutions of the species, so evolution is handled too.>Has a mini-tutorial to it on first use, which can be reset by replaying the Dex tutorial.>Pressing START again discards changes.
