Everyone seemed to enjoy the unbelievably believable collab, girlstalk collabs, her 1-on-1 collabs with gura and ame. Even /ggg/ of all places were enjoying during those collabs.
I agree with you though that she can't change her 'image' or 'recognition'. Your post infact is proof of this as well. Also surprisingly, this is not the opinion tourists/mainstream fans have about her whether you agree or not.

RBC, Mel, Akirose are some of the most wholesome well liked people but they are runts of their gen because of other factors. Same thing with Kiara.
The real reason is that she is unrelatable to the general holoaudience, has no knowledge of popular popculture/memes/music that the general holoaudience would enjoy, not subtle with her humor, avoids playing fotm games and when she does, she is not enthusiastic about it and probably the biggest reason is that she gets jumpscared/panics a lot in games even calm games and therefore is not a 'comfy/good bgm' either.
