Listen to him while you stand up, take a few deep breaths, then start stretching your body around randomly. Then when you feel a bit more energised, you can try raising your legs, pretend that you’re jogging but you stay in a single spot. This is all up to you of course, but moving your body is a good first step into dealing with depression.
