There's that moment where you're not quite awake and everything still passes as a dream, and then that sudden moment where you're fully conscious and can sense the real world around you. Except you can't move, can't open your eyes, and can only hear the muffled scream from your still closed mouth.
It all happened in maybe a few seconds, but it's quite the experience.
