The only plausible theory is that some girls just have male friends from their pre-vtuber days and that they're the actual inner circle. Honestly I don't bother myself much with this because as a regular fan you absolutely will get filtered or simply removed if you fly too close to the sun, because the "inner circle" are highly parasocial and will be extremely jealous of you. I only resent and am surprised by the foolishness of girls who let it get out of hand, because they hold all the power in this culture and can easily break free (and destroy) any fan/person that they dislike for whichever reason. With small indies the situation is of course much more complex.
So in the end only questions remain.
