Generally I do first attempts with nothing more than 1.1, which is what you get if you don't put a number, and then turn parts of it up more if I need to.
Just because something is a central feature of the art you're aiming for doesn't necessarily mean you need to emphasize it a ton. If you're trying for something very specific/rare, or have a super long prompt (especially when parts of it contradict each other) you'll probably be throwing emphasis everywhere but otherwise it's usually best to not overuse it in my experience
