Neuro-sama is a psychological study on parental instinct in humans when faced with an AI (Artificial Intelligence) who resembles a child. This study is currently being conducted using a streaming platform,
Twitch.tv, in which she interacts with her audience by scanning the chat box and forming an appropriate response.
Even though her use of speech is often times an incomprehensible string of words, it is evident that the audience is forming an attachment not unlike a guardian.
Collaborations with other streamers were set up to observe both the collaborator and the audience, with our most recent collaboration giving us the most receptive response that we were looking for, the parental instinct to protect the innocent was conclusive. The next test will be conducted shortly, and we look forward to the results.
