Her problems with her song projects are well known; she has a lot of pull against management because of her value; she's close with Ame, Fauna, oshi-ed Aqua, all who had problems with management/the direction of things. And she has been meme'd into someone who goes with her own flow rather than what other people want.
I doubt Gura will be back before the racing event but if she came back before and did her own thing or had a collab with someone from Justice or Advent, I would bet money the mood shift would be instant.
