I dropped my wireless earbuds in the parking lot at work yesterday and didn't realize until I'd gone to punch in. I looked for them on the way to my post and they'd been run over and totally crushed.
On the bright side they'd lasted me a good four and a half years or so and were finally beginning to fall apart anyway, but still not great because they were like a hundred and thirty bucks.
The other good news is that I got my new earbuds delivered just a few minutes ago, which is a pleasant surprise because I placed the order just this morning after I got home. Not gonna be without my ears tonight.
Also cheaper than the old ones, but still, $105 is ouch. At least these new ones apparently have a built in mp3 player which can be used instead of bluetooth to significantly extend the battery life.
tl;dr I was slightly sad yesterday, but I can already get back to listening to sharkwife VODs while on patrol. Huhaha.
