Before people just wanted to watch funny anime people play videogames, now it feels like seiyufaggotry mixed with /v/'s console wars where people speculate who is getting poached by who. I know that reincarnations is nothing new, but before it was like "oh, this person is playing a different character now", and now people just don't seperate the character and the person behind it. It's like we took the worst aspects of idol culture and uped them up 10x. Which is retarded, because idols never hide their real identities and going into different direction isn't treated as something exceptional. Here, it's all about your favourite corpo collecting "the good ones" and "the bad corpo" losing them like they're some kind of pokemon trainers.
