She sent out a weak projection of herself, which then grew into a local body made out of spirits and plant matter.
Given sufficient mana, her power has no upper limit. However, on Earth mana is a limited resource that she needs help to gather. Sometimes when she casts high-level spells her darkness-element mana reacts with Earth's atmosphere to create darklings - strange little blob creatures with flowers on their heads.
