There are many, many opportunities in the game to go for R2 attacks as well. The mention of R1 and roll spam has been heavily over exaggerated. A strength build is one of the easiest builds for the game.
The only thing I can agree with you on is teleporting dogs. Outside of that, it's a fantastic game with excellent pacing, good level design, and balanced gameplay and bosses where every build works.
I disagree with you so fucking hard, dude. DaS3 is an example of very fair when it comes to all bosses.
